It looks like a new dynasty is arising for the Welsh. A phoenix-like dragon is emerging from the ashes of mediocrity that has plagued this rugby loving nation since their fabled team of the seventies, last took the field.
The Welsh rightly feel they’re on the verge of something special.
A good Welsh team is good news for world rugby. For world rugby is better when there’s a better Welsh team out there on the field.

They’re up against the French. The French have also been phoenix like, turning a loss against Tonga into a quarter final win against the Irish.
The French are no strangers to sipping the sweet taste of semifinal successes. They’ve a drunk from the semi-flute but never from the trophy.
Their fans are also getting excited about the prospect of Samedi (Saturday) morning. After that, and with the French, it’s anybody’s guess.

The Australians have taken an interesting stance with their game against New Zealand, they’ve claimed the Kiwis have been mean to them. They’ve not really appreciated the taunts that have been directed their way.
You see this would never happen in Australia. As Australia is an advanced civilisation where opposing sports teams are welcomed, by fans and players alike. Nobody has ever been sledged on the friendly continent.
One thing is for certain they are the “one team” that can prevent the home team from making the final. And they would love to achive that. For with the civilities that are part of their civilisation, there’s no shame in ruining someone else’s party.
Wallaby stalwart, lock Nathan Sharpe is sitting on the bench, sitting on 99 caps. Hoping coach Robbie Deans lets him on the field.
