The Azzurri, the All Blacks, the fans and maybe the Rugby?
Oh yeah it's rugby world cup year.
And it's right here.
In New Zealand.

RIP - We look up to you.
Wherever you are Joe Frazier,
the news although hard to fathom,
we love the legacy you gave,
which is the strength you showed us.

Joe Frazier RIP.
One of the world’s greatest sporting stories ended today with the passing away of Smokin Joe Frazier. The first man to defeat Muhammed Ali in a professional bout.
Thoughts and prayers are with Joe’s family. Who in a statement described Joe as ‘One of God’s Men’. Too true.

Wherever you are Joe,
your legend is a good one,
the news is a blow that’s hard to fathom,
we can but thank you for the strength you showed us.

Ghost chips the song. Nothing to do with rugby really. A reflection of popular NZ culture post our RWC2011 win. It’s us a nation internalising a bad situation.

Piri Weepu flies the flag. Terrible showing of pride?

Rougerie

Rougerie incident (head butt and eye gouge) on McCaw.

May come down to this. Richie’s flying knee on Morgan Parra.

The games finished on Sunday, but it seems that RWC2011 is not over yet.

Both teams were pumped up. Maybe we should just move on?

Not a great picture.

Aurelien Rougerie head butt and eye gouge on Richie McCaw. RWC2011 final.

Good chance this was retaliation for McCaw’s knee on Morgan Parra (earlier in the game).

You may have seen Jared Brandon’s clip showing NZ supporters watching the RWC final on the big screen in Auckland … will this is the French equivalent. Not quite as artistic but still it’s rugby.

Click to watch the NZ version.

Proof that there’s some parts from history that are sadly missing from the modern game.

Description: THE RUNNING GAME is a unique insight to the game and people who play Rugby at the highest level. Shot on the 1981-2 Australian tour of the U.K. and Ireland this film has become a legend in Rugby circles. This is when the game was amateur and people played for the love of it.

We saw some kids throwing a ball on a railway crossing and stopped to film them, seeing in those kids a culture that lead all the way to Cardiff Arms Park

Bread Of Heaven is a visual poem to those who play.
